Kenneth Wayne Griffith

Kenneth Wayne Griffith, age 70, died Saturday, June 16, 2012, at KU Medical Center, in Kansas City, KS. He was born June 13, 1942, at Lubbock, TX, to Kenneth and Maurene (Lister) Griffith. He graduated from high school in Plainview, TX. He was a territory salesman for the Hamby Co., then, a salesman for Keating Tractor and Equipment. He was member of the Guymon Church of Christ, past president of Kids Inc., past scoutmaster for the cub scouts, and assitant to the scout master for the boy scouts. He also served in the National Guard. On September 12, 1990, he married Rosalea Bostick, at Santa Fe, NM. She survives.Other survivors include 1 son, Dane Griffith and wife Susan, of Auburn, AL; 2 daughters, Jackie Galvan and husband Israel, of Maypearl, TX, and Tamie Elam, of Tucumcari, NM; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents; i son, Kent Bramwell; sister, Carolyn Weiland, and an infant sister.Visitation Time will be tuesday, June 19, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. - 8;00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at First Southern Baptist Church, in Liberal, with David Earl Monson, George Caudill, and J.W. Hamby, officiating. Burial will be in Reslawn Cemetery, at Liberal.Memorial Contributions may be made to Kids Inc., and sent in care of Brenneman Funeral Home.
