Duane Reed Hitchcock, 56, died Monday, September 24, 2012 at Kansas Medical Center in Andover, KS. He was born on November 10, 1955 at Pratt, KS to Ralph L. and Mary (Reed) Hitchcock. He had worked for several local oilfield companies as a roughneck. He is survived by his Son – Stacey Hitchcock of Yukon, OK; Father – Ralph L. Hitchcock of Minneola, KS; Sister – Rhonda Wiens and husband Spencer of Meade, KS; and 2 Grandchildren- Trever and Blake Hitchcock.

He was preceded in death by his Mother and 1 Son Jason Hitchcock, who was adopted and raised by Duane’s parents.

Inurnment will be held at 11:00 am Friday, September 28, 2012 at Liberal Cemetery with Pastor Rex Petty presiding. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation.
