Nancy Carol Pittman

Nancy Carol Pittman, age 70, died October 5, 2012 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, MO. She was born January 25, 1942 in Liberal, KS, the daughter of Harland and Mae (Fuller) Neese. She attended Liberal High School. She was a life time resident of Liberal, moving to Wichita, KS in 2008.

On December 11, 1970,she married Richard Pittman in Liberal, KS. He survives.

She was a home maker. She enjoyed playing golf, cooking and decorating her home.

She was member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Elk’s Lodge and Country Club of Liberal.

Survivors include: 2 Sons Mike Wares and wife Mary Wichita, KS; Mark Wares El Dorado, KS; 1 Step-son Chris Pittman and wife Kim Lakewood, CO; 1 Step-daughter Richelle Harnish and husband Dean Castle Rock, CO; 3 Sisters Doris Gordon and husband Jimmy, Missouri; Charlene Miller and husband Loyd Hardesty, Ok; and Edwina Neese Garden City, KS. 13 Grandchildren Amber, Tabitha, Mikey, Paige, Brandon, Katrina, Dylan, Dustin, Krystal, Breanna, Cody, Robert and Sheryl.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 Brothers Harland Neese, Jr., Jerry Neese and Dean Neese; 6 Sisters Elenor Neese, Margaret Hinz, Helen Brisco, Clara Neese, Irene Crowder, Isabel Witzke and 1 Step-son Robert Pittman.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Liberal, KS, with Pastor Tyler Prater presiding. Burial will be in Restlawn Cemetery in Liberal, KS.

There will be no visitation and the casket will be closed. The guest register book will be available to sign from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 9th, at Brenneman Funeral Home.
