Troy L. Luebbers

Troy L. Luebbers, age 56, died at his home on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, in Liberal, Kansas.

He was born on April 29, 1961 in Scott City, Kansas, the son of Omer ”Boots” and Marilyn (Kessler) Luebbers.

He was married to Angela D. Kelly.

Troy graduated from Liberal High School in 1979 and Seward County Community College in 1981.

Troy was employed at Dillons in Liberal for the past 26 years.

Troy loved most all types of music and had a wonderful collection. He also enjoyed movies and reading from his collection of books. He was a sports fan especially when supporting his favorite teams, the Royals, Chiefs, University of Oklahoma, Kansas University and Kansas State. He was a fan of the Big 12 Teams.

Survivors include: his wife Angela,
Son Shane Luebbers-Jones and his wife Kate of Oklahoma City, OK
Son Shawn Walton and his wife Candice of Post Falls, Idaho

Mother Marilyn P. Luebbers of Liberal

Brothers Danny Luebbers and his wife Deedee, David Luebbers and his wife Yolanda all of Liberal, KS.

Also survived by many Nieces and Nephews

preceded in death by his father Omer “Boots” Luebbers, Brother Thomas “Tom” Luebbers, and son Jamie Walton.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday June 5, 2017 at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd Street, Liberal KS with Pastor Rex Petty presiding.
