Callie Berniece Strandberg died Thursday, October 5, 2017, at her residence in Liberal.
She was born on October 18, 1922 in Gorin, MO, the daughter of Henry Albert and Ethel (Smith) Tague.
On October 12, 1945, she married John Keith Strandberg in Burlington, IA. He preceded her in death on April 13, 1984.
She worked as a cashier for Ideal Foods, and was a dedicated member of the Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church, Liberal, KS.
Survivors include:
1 Daughter Joyce Gilpin Liberal, KS
1 Son Robert Strandberg and his wife Beth Las Vegas, NV
1 Sister Dorothy Sequin Texas
4 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and 3 Brothers; Olen, Floyd and Earl Tague.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Tuesday, October 10th at Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd. Liberal, KS.
Graveside Services will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, October 11, 2017 in the Restlawn Cemetery, Liberal, KS, with Pastor Erin Rush, Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church, Liberal, KS, presiding.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church, in care of Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd St., Liberal, KS 67901.
